Northern Albacore in Olive Oil 200 gr
Our Northern Albacore (Thunnus alalunga) is caught sustainably using hooks, which guarantees the freshness and quality of the product. We exclusively select the Head of the Boat, that is, the last catches made just before entering the port, to ensure that the bonito are as fresh as possible.
Elaboration process:
- Selection and Cleaning: We clean the bonito carefully , ensuring the elimination of impurities and maintaining the quality of the fish.
- Cooking and Preparation: We cook the tuna at an optimal temperature to preserve all its nutritional properties and natural flavor. Manually, we carefully remove the skin and thorns , guaranteeing a clean product ready for the next step.
- Oil Infusion: We infuse the oil with garlic and chili, which gives it a characteristic flavor and a mild spicy touch . After an appropriate amount of time, we remove the infusion ingredients, leaving only the flavored oil.
- Packaging and Sterilization: We fill the jars with the bonito pieces and cover them with the infused oil. We sterilize the jars to ensure optimal conservation and a product ready for tasting.
This meticulous and artisanal process guarantees that each jar of our Albacore in Oil offers a unique culinary experience , with the freshness of the sea and an exceptional flavor.
The company that produces our Northern Albacore takes pride in its traditional fishing and packaging method. This meticulous process ensures that only the best specimens reach your table. Each can is a testament to the dedication and effort to keep the fishing traditions of Northern Spain alive, offering a product of unmatched quality that reflects the rich history and commitment to excellence.
Origin of La Venta 1897
A Family History Linked to Stews in Pots and Natural and Sustainable Cuisine.
La Venta 1897 has a history steeped in love for traditional Asturian cuisine and a tireless pursuit of culinary excellence. More than 120 years ago, grandparents Matilde and Jesús sowed the seeds of this gastronomic project, and today, four generations later, their legacy lives on, with the same dedication and passion that they infused into each recipe.
For them, good cuisine was the fruit of a well-prepared recipe , a deep love for the culinary art and the use of the best products available. At La Venta 1897, this belief remains unchanged. They work hand in hand with trusted local producers , who provide them with the most select ingredients. Thus, the preserves they make allow the restaurant's recipes to transcend borders and be enjoyed in any corner of the world.
The Art of Cooking in a Glass Jar
At La Venta 1897, the preserves are prepared with the same dedication and care that is used in the restaurant. Each dish is cooked without haste and with the love that good stews deserve.
Detail is essential at La Venta 1897. The entire production process is done manually, from cooking to packaging. Their mission is to offer authentic home cooking to those who want to eat well and healthily, but sometimes don't have time to cook or are looking for quality products that aren't easy to find in their area.
Its philosophy is clear: to bring natural and traditional cuisine to customers' tables, thanks to healthy preserves, using only high-quality products.
