Sausage of Bellota 100% Iberian, individually boxed 80 grams
Salchichón is a type of cured sausage of Roman origin. It is made with lean pork and some bacon content. It is seasoned with salt and some spices such as pepper, nutmeg, cloves or coriander.
All this chopped dough is left to marinate for about twenty - four hours and then stuffed into pig intestines of cows or hanging him for curing, which can be "a smoke" (smoking) or simply air drying for several days.
The best known is the one produced in Spain , although it is also produced in other European countries such as France , Italy or Greece and in Latin America . In Spanish gastronomy this type of sausage is rarely used in the preparation of dishes. It is, however, widely used in the composition of sandwiches . It can also be served as a lid .
Being a meat of excellent quality and leaner and less salty than that of other sausages, the same is used to accompany a wine at aperitif time as as a sandwich for the snack of the little ones of the house.
