Sherry Vinegar Reserve 250 ml
What do we find in this Barbadillo Sherry Vinegar?
We find a vinegar with a powerful and extreme flavor endorsed by the Denomination of Origin "Vinagre de Jerez". This type of vinegar is characterized by being fermented exclusively from Sherry wines, whose origin is limited to the vineyards located in the Marco de Jerez region which, thanks to the area's Atlantic microclimate, have unique nuances and aromas.
Specifically, this Reserva vinegar is made using the Soleras and Criaderas method, an aging method typical of the area, which takes several years in the cellars to produce a product with a particularly intense aroma and flavour.
Barbadillo
Barbadillo is one of the oldest family businesses in Spain, founded in 1821, by the Barbadillo cousins Benigno and Manuel. Manuel acquired his first winery in Sanlúcar de Barrameda and with the help of Benigno, the winery began distributing wines to different parts of Spain, the United Kingdom and America.
In 1827, the name Manzanilla appeared for the first time in a boot that Benigno sent to the United States, whose success prompted them to launch Pastora, the world's first bottled manzanilla, on the market. With Benigno's death, Manuel took over the reins of the business and in 1954 formally established the company that is now known as Bodegas Barbadillo, famous for its wines, vinegars and vermouths.
