Red Fishing Cellar
This winery was founded by Alejandro Fernández and Esperanza Rivera, a marriage that began with the purchase of a small stone press from the 16th century in which they began to make their first wines with the grapes grown on those same lands.
After years of hard work, the first wine that was the result of his efforts was called Tinto Pesquera, in honor of his hometown, Pesquera de Duero.
This wine, which gained much more weight in the market after the birth of the DO Ribera del Duero, was considered by Robert Parker, one of the most influential wine critics, one of the best wines in the world.
Since then, and with the union of more projects in the family business, this winery has continued to perfect and work to continue offering one of the most valued wines by experts.
